Delivery, Cancellation & Refunds

This page explains how software sold at We Are the App Makers (operated by KABUSHIKI GAISYA LETS BJJ) is delivered, and how cancellations, refunds and bugs are handled. If this English version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version applies.

1. What we sell

  • WAVETRIM — software for Mac (download only), ¥1,600 JPY (tax included), one-time purchase
  • DawlessCapture — software for Mac (download only), ¥0 JPY (tax included), one-time purchase
  • DawlessCapture Pro — software for Mac (download only), ¥1,600 JPY (tax included), one-time purchase
  • RecOn — software for Mac (download only), ¥0 JPY (tax included), one-time purchase
  • RecOn Pro — software for Mac (download only), ¥4,800 JPY (tax included), one-time purchase
  • QuickSelect — software for Mac (download only), ¥800 JPY (tax included), one-time purchase
  • RapidCrop — software for Mac (download only), ¥800 JPY (tax included), one-time purchase

There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. You pay once and can use the product for good.

2. Payment

  • You pay on PayPal's page, with a PayPal account or — no account needed — a credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express).
  • You are charged in Japanese yen (JPY). If your card is issued outside Japan, your card company converts the amount to your currency, at its own exchange rate and fees.
  • Card details are processed by PayPal, which is certified to the PCI DSS security standard. They never pass through our servers, and we never receive them.

3. Delivery (download)

  • As soon as your payment goes through, you're shown a download page. Download the app (a .dmg file) from there. Nothing is shipped.
  • Bookmark the download page and you can open it again any time. When a new version comes out, you can download the latest version from the same page.
  • PayPal emails you a receipt for your payment. We may email the address you bought with about your purchase (such as fixes for serious bugs), whatever your announcement settings.
  • If we ever close the Store, we'll announce it at least 6 months in advance and keep downloads available until then.
  • We may refuse purchases from countries or regions we can't sell to because of laws or sanctions.
  • If you can't download, or you closed the page, please contact us. We'll confirm your payment and help you download.

4. Free trial

  • You can try products that offer a trial for free before you buy. Enter your email on the product page and we'll email you a download link (valid for 7 days).
  • The WAVETRIM trial gives you every feature for 14 days from first launch. After that, playback and exports get a half-second burst of noise every 30 seconds. Installing the full version removes it.
  • We'll also email the address you used for the trial about updates and new apps. You can stop these any time with the "Unsubscribe" link in each email.

5. Cancellation

  • Before your payment is complete, just close the checkout page to cancel. You won't be charged.
  • Because these are downloads, orders can't be cancelled once payment is complete.
  • There are no recurring charges, so there's nothing to unsubscribe from.

6. Refunds

  • We don't give refunds for change of mind. Please use the free trial to check that the software works on your Mac, with your plug-ins, before you buy.
  • We fix bugs quickly. If you find one, please let us know. We'll fix it and release the fix as an app update.
  • If a serious bug on our side (the app won't launch, the downloaded file won't open, and so on) isn't fixed within 30 days of your report, we'll refund you in full.
  • If you accidentally buy the same product twice, contact us within 30 days and we'll refund the second purchase in full.
  • None of this limits your rights under the law.
  • Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We process them within 10 business days of deciding to refund. How long it takes to show on your statement depends on your card company.

7. Charges you don't recognize

If you see a "WEARETHEAPPMAKERS" charge on your statement that you don't recognize, please contact us before contacting your card company. We'll look into it and respond promptly.
